Communicators Chair attends DLC Communicators Meeting

JoAnn Niehaus, chairperson of the Alliance Communicators Committee, attended the DLC Communicators meeting at River Forest, Il, May 9-11, 2005. Along with eight members from Dominican Congregations and Provinces, JoAnn chaired the groups planning for their annual meeting to be held in January, 2006 in San Jose, CA. The Sisters of Mission San Jose offer the communicators hospitality and Mary Brennan will be the liason for the gathering. Anne Lythgoe, Communicator for DLC and committee coordinator, led the group in exploring the communication needs of the Dominican Family in the 21stcentury. The theme for the annual meeting is "THE MESSAGE IS THE MISSION: the good news in the city, the nation, the world". Margaret Galiardi OP, Amityville, will be the guest, guiding the group in strategic planning for communicating from the local to the global and back again. As Rebecca Peak quippped, "you are the pixel in the picture".
