Justice and Eco-Justice Promoters Meet

The Justice and Eco-Justice Promoters met during the Federation Meeting in Chicago on April 21, 2005 to begin the task of developing a theological reflection experience which would guide the Alliance members to skills for non-violence and simple sustainable living. We decided that water would be our common issue and we would approach it from the perspective of justice and eco-justice. It is important that we recogize and express the fact that non-violence and sustainability are one issue. Water is one example or the forum for the oneness of non-violence and sustainability.
Each committee will work on this project and will schedule a follow-up joint meeting in the fall.
This project is an Action Step of the Dominican Alliance Goals 2004-2009.
