Collaboration for Sustainability and Non-violence

The Eco-Justice Committee and the Justice, Peace and Care of Creation Committees are collaborating on Goal 3 developing a theological reflection experience for the members of the Dominican Alliance. Goal 3 calls us to become a transforming influence through the practice of non-violence and simple sustainable living. This is a committee of the Justice Promoters of the Alliance Congregations. It is chaired by the Justice Resource Person, who is hired by the Dominican Alliance Congregations. The purpose of the committee is:

To share ideas and information about how each congregation approaches justice issues at the local and regional level
To provide support for each promoter in her work of justice education, advocacy, and action
To collectively work on the DOMINICAN CALL TO ACTION
To maintain connection with the Dominican Promoters of Justice on the international level

The committee meets two to three times per year.
